The truth is that no company in the hosting business that can offer these features because of the network lines have only a fixed amount of data that can be carried. They offer this because they also know that most websites consume only part of their bandwidth. For example, companies getting about five hundred visitors per day will only have about 5 to 20GB of data transferred per month. But this still depends on how many pages viewed and the size of theses files. It is very rare for companies to use the full bandwidth levels that have been set. It would be safe to say that companies offering unlimited bandwidth has to do more with getting new customers than market gimmicks

Should we take the unlimited bandwidth plan? I would say if you are just starting out getting your website running, it is a good idea to go ahead and have this feature. But as, we know there is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. You should know how much data transfer you will be dealing with in your company. But like I stated earlier a small company with only about 50 to 100 pages, will not reach their level of bandwidth.

Should you trust the companies offering unlimited bandwidth, since we know that there is technically no such thing? If you are in the beginning stages of the websites there should be no problem with using it on your website. At least, you would not have to worry about the amount of data transfers for at least a few months.
